Built on the popular Grassland Shakaerator platform, the McConnel Fruitaerator has been designed to work the narrow lanes within orchards and vineyards where it eases compaction, aids drainage and promotes crop growth.

Unique vibration action

Unlike conventional subsoilers, the Shakaerator range comes with a patented vibration unit which reduces draught, improves fuel efficiency and lowers hp requirements.

Overview

Customers can spec the machine to suit the task at hand choosing from three different working widths; flat and shark-tooth rollers; and two or three leg configurations.

The Fruitaerator also boasts McConnel's innovative vibration unit which dramatically reduces draught by shattering the soil and easing the passage of the machine’s legs through the ground, reducing fuel consumption and operating costs, and aiding traction.

Features

Patented sabre-style legs

The unique, forward position and angle of the point ensures the soil is heaved and shattered ahead of the shank reducing draught requirements by easing the passage of the legs through the ground and reducing the risk of horizontal compaction.

Spring-loaded cutting discs

355mm (14") discs cut through turf and surface residue for minimal surface disturbance. 2 and 3 disc options are both available.
