McConnel, with a widespread footprint across more than 35 International markets, is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as an export salesperson. This role involves actively contributing to sustained sales growth and supporting the company's ambitious plans for the future.
Overview Of Role:
McConnel's global sales are on a trajectory of continuous growth, propelled by the expansion of product ranges, innovative developments, the nurturing of dealer networks, and the exploration of new territories. This dynamic environment presents fresh and compelling prospects for promoting the company's brand.
The position entails the responsibility of both sustaining and enhancing business levels with assigned distributors and key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management – Driving Sales through the existing distribution sales network, implementation of area targets, sales forecasting, and reporting forward ordering.
Business Development – Identify market opportunities for key products and implement sales initiatives to deliver growth.
Relationship Management – Demonstrate proficiency in cultivating significant relationships with dealer principals and their sales teams, as well as collaborating effectively with internal McConnel personnel, including established Sales and Marketing teams.
Communication – Collaborate closely with the pertinent territories and distributors to oversee all opportunities and inquiries. Facilitate the exchange of market intelligence and feedback.
Problem Solving – Identify potential challenges that may affect future sales and oversee the implementation of effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess a background in sales and account management. This includes experience in direct sales or indirect sales through distribution networks, showcasing proficiency in commercial negotiations and a track record of successfully setting and meeting monthly sales forecasts.
Crucially, the successful applicant should exhibit confidence, adaptability to tailor approaches for various situations, and effective communication skills capable of interfacing with individuals at all levels within the organisation.
