McConnel is to showcase its new COMBI-PRESS at LAMMA 2017.
Available in 3.0m and 4.0m working widths, the machine features 700mm rings with a 45-degree profile for smooth, even consolidation.
Optional spring-mounted levelling boards shatter clods, break down plough ridges and level the ground.
Heavy-duty hydraulic folding ensures the machine can be safely transported on the road, while its innovation two-section design delivers superb visibility behind the wheel.
Other key features include:
- HD five-seal bearings do not have to be greased and are maintenance free
- Six degrees of movement ensure the press can work in undulating terrain and maintain close contour-following in uneven ground
- Levelling boards are fitted with depth indicator markers for close control
- Self-steering mechanism
- Galvanised steel self-cleaning chains
- LED lighting
The new machine is the latest addition to McConnel’s comprehensive range of rollers and front presses which the company has been able to offer following its merger with sister-company Twose, one of the most famous names in consolidation technology.
The new machine complements a series of 10 front presses with working widths from 1.5m to 4.0m.
