ROBOPOWER, McConnel’s next-generation unmanned remote control tractor, has hit the headlines in Holland after making the front page of the influential ‘Tuin en Park Techniek’ magazine (Garden and Park Technology).
The publication devoted five full-colour pages to the innovative new machine giving readers a detailed preview of its advanced feature set while covering a demonstration of the machine tackling a series of forestry jobs.
The demo was organised by McConnel’s Dutch distributor JJ Dabekausen as part of a nationwide roadshow tour to promote the machine and raise awareness among contractors, specialists and local government teams.
Dabekausen general manager Jeroen Huijsmans said the tour had introduced ROBOPOWER to a new audience of potential customers and generated a buzz of excitement.
He said: “We have enjoyed excellent feedback at all the demonstrations and have been able to show off the machine in a variety of different working environments from railway embankments to forests.
“The extensive coverage we received shows the huge level of interest in ROBOPOWER in Holland and the tremendous potential it has to offer in boosting safety, performance, and productivity.”
