The innovative design of McConnel’s new 75 Series Power Arms has earned the company a prestigious technology award at Germany’s DEMOPARK Show.
The new series was commended by judges for the radical new design of its oil tank and cooling system which increases the surface area and reduces heat from waste oil, and for its innovative baffle system which removes 99 per cent of the entrained air.
The award was presented to the company’s Dutch distribution partner Dabekausen, which had showcased the 6.5m PA6575T at the event alongside a selection of compact Power Arms and Remote Control machinery.
Dabekausen general manager Jeroen Huijsmans said: “We are very proud to win this award since the standard of entries was extremely high this year. The innovation level at the show was at a level never seen before.“
“The award carries a lot of kudos and generated interest from contractors, local government, and the green maintenance sector. It ensured we attracted a lot of visitors to the stand and have secured some excellent sales leads as a result.”
The 75 Series Power Arms offer a choice of reach options from 5.6m to 8.0m and a high-performance 70hp hydraulic system. Designed to withstand the busy workloads of professional contractors, these heavy duty machines are available with a choice of standard, telescopic and Tele-VFR armsets.
Other machines on display at the event included:
- ROBOCUT
- ROBOMOZ
- ROBOMAX
- 30 and VERSI series Power Arms.
Held over three days in Eisenach, Germany, DEMOPARK is Europe’s largest open-air green sector show attracting 36,000 landscaping professionals with Dabekausen working alongside its Bavarian partner KLP Baumaschinen at the event.
