Business is booming at McConnel where 15 new jobs have just been created to help meet the increasing demand for world-class Power Arms and cultivation machinery.
The launch of key new products such as the 65-series Power Arms, the telescopic-VFR armset, and the SEEDAERATOR, has helped create a bulging order book and seen the expansion of the company’s workforce.
New recruits Karl Sutton, Kristian Speke, Tim Shurmer, Nigel Lloyd, Lee Monks, Dave Humphries, and Ben Chainey, (picture below with senior production engineer Nigel Francis, far left), join Craig Maund, Adam Bowkett, Michael Smith, Daniel Hillman, Callum Watkiss, Tim Breakwell, Daniel Bird, Stephen Rudge and Michael Jones as the newest members of the McConnel team.
Production controller Phil Barber said: “McConnel has enjoyed a very successful year so far and we’re pleased to welcome a new group of recruits who will help the company meet the growing demand for new machines.”
