Five intrepid employees celebrated the end of a ‘Movember’ to remember by shaving off their fund-raising facial fuzz after collecting close to £500 for the cancer charity.
Craig Jones, Dave Trumper, Kevin Giess, Jamie Bennett and Tallon Poole (pictured above) said goodbye to their whiskers at the end of a month-long beard-growing campaign to raise cash for the fight against prostate and testicular cancer.
Craig said that while the event had been fun, it also had a serious aspect because it had helped raise awareness of critical men’s health issues, as well as raising much needed funds for the cause.
He said: “I’d like to thank everyone at McConnel for their generosity in supporting us. We were delighted to have collected so much money – and relieved to get a clean shave afterwards!”
