The steep coastal paths of Jersey have proved the perfect place to showcase the all-terrain capabilities of ROBOCUT – with the machine’s impressive performance broadcast on ITV local news.
Sold through McConnel’s Jersey-based distributor Agri-Co Ltd, the machine is the first ROBOCUT in the Channel Isles and will be used to tackle areas which were previously hazardous and inaccessible to mechanised mowing machines.
McConnel’s demonstration manager Simon Pattrick said: “The environment was perfect for ROBOCUT because we were able to tackle slopes of up to 45 degrees and demonstrate the huge safety and productivity advantages of the machine.
“The local TV station was very impressed and it gave us a great opportunity to promote the benefits of our remote control range.”
