We are delighted to report that we have appointed a number of new recruits to further strengthen the McConnel Sprayer & Spreader team.
New recruits include Simon Morgan, Richard Watkins, Richard Lloyd, William Frost, Scott Jelfs, Adele Fox and Sam Jinks.
Simon Morgan has been appointed Principle Design Engineer for the McConnel Sprayer & Spreading Division. Simon has a Degree in Off Road Vehicle Design from Harper Adams and a MSc Degree from Cranfield University. When not at work, Simon’s hobby is maintaining and restoring vintage cars and plant machinery.
Richard Watkins will be helping with the ongoing development of the Agribuggy & Multidrive products. Richard is a highly qualified and experienced design engineer with extensive sprayer knowledge. Having worked previously for Kellands Agricultural, Richard has all the skills and expertise needed for the job.
Richard Lloyd previously worked as Principal Engineer at Carmichaels in Worcester, designing Fire and Rescue vehicles. This included the Cobra Airport Rescue Fire Fighting chassis, body and firefighting systems. His new position at McConnel is Sprayer Design Engineer, developing the Multidrive product range.
William Frost is an ambitious employee who joined us from Travis Perkins to work within the Sprayer Parts department. William possesses strong sales, customer service and warehouse experience and we are delighted to have William on board.
Scott Jelfs is a practical Service Technician with a farming background, possessing good knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics with practical assembly experience from his time working within Alamo Group Manufacturing Services on the main product assembly line.
Adele Fox will be coordinating all service and support issues in relation to the Sprayer division. Adele joins us with extensive administration experience, most notably at Brightwells Limited. A confident and outgoing employee, we are delighted to have Adele join the team.
Sam Jinks, our new Stores Inventory Controller for the Sprayer Division. Sam joined us from the restaurant trade where he honed his customer service and inventory skills.
